वकारै हि पंचाभिर्युक्तो नरो भवति सुपूजित:॥

Mahalakshmi

MahaLakshmi is the Goddess who embodies the aspect of progress in the laws of nature, and of prosperity, growth, affluence, and fortune, the wife of Vishnu. She is the embodiment of loveliness, grace, beauty, and charm, and is depicted either seated or standing on a lotus flower with palms dropping gold coins. The Vedic literature says she has a "face like the full moon, eyes blessing humanity with grace." The day of Maha Lakshmi is a good day for yagyas for wealth, prosperity and fulfillment, growth, affluence, good fortune, and bliss.+

na choraharyam na rajaharyam
na bhartrbhajyam na bharakari /
vyaye krute vardhata eva nityam
vidya dhanam sarva dhana pradhanam //

meaning: It can not be stolen,nor It is the treasure to be submitted to kings
and it is the property not to be shared amongst brothers and not a heavy object
to carry,even though spent it keeps growing and that vidya (knowledge)
is the only Wealth which is primary wealth of all wealths.
